Brushing for detangling should always start from the ends and work your way up, little by little, towards the roots, so as not to increase the pressure on knots.

The care phase

Brush from roots to ends in 4 x 25 strokes. For thick or curly hair, this means :

• 25 straight brush strokes,
• 25x head bent to the right,
• 25x head bent left
• and finally 25 strokes with the brush head forward.
